   @Lulukazzoo I realize this comment was posted a long while back and maybe your opinion has changed since then, but normal mode is initially, a joke. Basically you’d have to be pretty stupid to die on normal from what I’ve heard, Nightmare is when things will start to anal-rape you. Past that, D2 was gritty in terms of graphics, not just environment, and this is the first area mind you.

   Although it does look really good, i think they’ve kind of lost the concept or diablo. I don’t know how to explain it. They’ve just tried to improve it so much that it kind of isn’t diablo anymore. It looks way to easy, the whole health orb thing is stupid, using potions more often was way better, and nothing is dropping weapons or armor or anything which was awesome cause you always got excited when a rare/unique item was dropped. Dunno just doesn’t seem the same.

   The maps ARE randomly generated, google it, someone did an entire article on comparing the maps. Some stuff is always going to be the same obviously for story sake, but the areas are randomly generated even in the beta.

    Bring the Druid back, that really ruins diablo 3 for me, but still its a good game and i will definitly be jumping into some multiplayer when i get my hands on the game

    there was a mini map option in D2. plus the map could be made transparent anyway.

    @Lulukazzoo Remember, this is still VERY early in the game. The D2 equivilent lengh-wise would be Blood Raven.

    hm. i will most definitely be getting this, if not for nostalgia, then for the new content, but something about this doesn’t seem right to me. i don’t know if it’s the lack of randomness (which i sincerely hope is just a beta thing) or if it’s the seeming lack of difficulty ( i mean, come on, that monk last video was tearing these guys up), but this just doesn’t seem like an authentic, dark, and twisted follow-up to LOD. When i think Diablo, i think pools of corpses in the Durance of Hate.
