Nguyen Thi Huong is one of sixteen people living with disabilities who participated in the community photography project, face to face, in 2008/09 in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam. The aim was to build self-esteem, team spirit and communication skills amongst local disability self-help group members through photography, community engagement and national exposure. This is Huong’s story. The project was supported by German Development Service (DED) and WP Schmitz Stiftung.
